After graduating from the Air Force Academy, I spent five years in the Air Force stationed in California and Missouri. While in Missouri, I had the opportunity to complete my MBA from the University of Missouri, Columbia, with a focus on Industrial Relations and Quantitative Methods. After leaving the Air Force, I joined a Fortune 100 Healthcare Manufacturing and Distribution Corporation Division located in Southern California. After eight years of manufacturing logistics and systems management, I moved into a sales position with an enterprise software company. In January 1998, I accepted a position that required relocation to the Pacific Northwest, in the Seattle area. Having come up to visit friends and to vacation, Marilyn (my wife) and I immediately began looking on Bainbridge Island and found a place to call home. The allure and draw of living on an island in the Puget Sound, just a short boat ride from one of our all-time favorite cities, was just too strong to resist. I continued in technology sales until 2001. After the dot com bust and some serious soul-searching, I made a complete career change, joining Prudential Northwest Real Estate on Bainbridge Island.
Years later, despite a frenetic market, I am still excited about real estate. Technology changes and the Internet have forever changed this industry and it seems like the changes are accelerating. Coming from a technology and sales background, I am excited about where this is going to lead us and embrace the journey. In January 2011, Julie Meyers and I bought the Prudential office on Winslow Way, Shortly thereafter, we became Bainbridge Homes Real Estate.

I’m a full-time local broker who loves everything about island real estate… talking about it, tracking the trends, and knowing the ins-and-outs of getting financing. I’m an island property insider who utilizes local insights together with local listing and sales data and leading industry indexes to help my clients make smart real estate decisions.
After many years working in the fast-paced computer industry in the Bay Area, I discovered the tranquility of living and working on Bainbridge Island. Leaving my high-tech career behind, I eagerly jumped on the opportunity to relocate my family and start a career as a Real Estate Consultant. I obtained a Liberal Arts Degree from San Diego State University and have a background in Marketing and Computer Technology. This background has been a valuable tool to help grow my business and stay on the cutting-edge in an ever-changing world of technology, which helps my clients feel at ease throughout the home buying and selling process. I am a firm believer in knowledge, providing my clients with all the data, market analysis, facts, and statistics they need to digest, which ultimately helps them make a sound decision on what is most likely the biggest investment they will ever make. It is always my goal to fully understand my client’s needs and to work diligently towards achieving those goals with honesty and integrity.
Achieving top sales awards within my first few years of being in the business, such as Top Producer and Leading Edge Society was a product of my hard work and proven track record of client satisfaction. My positive attitude along with my calm and knowledgeable approach always make my clients feel at ease. As an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR designation), I have thoroughly enjoyed working with buyers relocating from out of state, buyers moving up locally, and investors in the area. Helping sellers get their homes ready to list and guiding them to a successful close always feels rewarding.
I have two children attending the Bainbridge Island School District and we have all appreciated the wonderful education and care each and every teacher has provided year after year. Having worked on a number of the PTO Boards, I have knowledge of how the schools work and am always willing to discuss the great education offered here on the island.
In January 2011, my business partner, Dave Manning, and I bought the Prudential office here on Winslow Way, Shortly thereafter, we became Bainbridge Homes Real Estate.
“Hi, I’m Larry Kight”—If you have been to Bainbridge Island you may have heard this line around town. I am the real Larry Kight and have been involved in real estate since coming to the island with my family over 17 years ago. Prior to starting my real estate career, I was in the Healthcare Technology market selling multi-million dollar systems to healthcare providers such as Baylor University and St. Jude’s Hospital. I also sold to service providers in the Blue Cross family, and software vendors such as Perot Systems GE and McKesson/HBO. Finding your dream home or a piece of land to build it on is now my primary focus. Your next home will probably be the most significant purchase you ever make. I would like to make your home owning dreams a reality, and have the skills to help find and negotiate the best deal available. Stop in to meet me. I look forward to it.

As a real estate agent/broker, I make it my number one priority to stay up on the entire inventory on the Northwest Multiple Listings. This means I know what is currently for sale on Bainbridge Island and make it a point to view every home on the market. I also pay very close attention to all the current activity of not only the current listings, but also what has sold recently or is pending. I feel fortunate that Tom is a mortgage broker with Bainbridge Lending Group (he can help you with your loan or to get pre-qualified). It is an advantage to know the current market rates and newer policies in lending so that I know how to help my clients. We have two boys: one in high school, the other in college. They have been through all grades in the excellent Bainbridge Public School system. I know Bainbridge Island very well and have taken active roles in many of programs and activities that our island has to offer. I am lucky to have extended family on the island so I have observed it through multi-generational views.
I make full use of my network of friends and colleagues to benefit my clients and help them form connections in this wonderful community. I look forward to working with you too.
One of my passions is the Bainbridge Island School District. I am a member of our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). This has been a priority for me and my husband since our boys entered the district’s schools. I find it very fulfilling to work with other parents and grandparents on the fundraising committees, chairing school carnivals, and helping with dances. While I may not sit on the board of the Bainbridge Island Rotary, my husband did, (as president of Bainbridge Island Rotary International Club 2011-2012), and I would like to think I worked almost as hard as he did participating in many of the Rotary Club functions. As a family, we are involved in Boy Scouts, Little League, Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church Youth Group, Wing Point Golf & Country Club, Rotary Auction, boating and traveling.

After many years in nursing, I have joined my husband at the #1 voted real estate agency on Bainbridge Island, Bainbridge Homes Real Estate. Now I can care for my clients by guiding them through one of the most important decisions of their lives—buying and selling their homes.
I have lived on Bainbridge Island for 19 years, commuted to Seattle for work, and raised children through one of the top-rated school systems available in the Northwest.
Please allow me to care for your real estate needs.
After 25 successful years in accounting, my love of all things real estate motivated me to become a real estate broker and join Bainbridge Homes.
Born and raised in Seattle, I spent my summers and weekends at our family cabin in Port Ludlow on the Kitsap Peninsula. During this time, I was able to build strong connections in Port Townsend and Poulsbo, and I became very familiar with the surrounding areas.
For last 14 years, I’ve called Bainbridge Island home. As a parent on the island, I’ve held many volunteer roles from PTO President to Bainbridge Youth Sailing Board Member. As a resident, I’ve walked it, hiked it, biked it, and shopped it—I love what Bainbridge Island has to offer and I love being a part of the community.
I’ve lived on Bainbridge Island long enough to help you find what you need, but not long enough to forget what it’s like to be new to the island. It’s this experience, and my willingness to share, that will help me best serve my clients before, during, and after each transaction.
As someone who has experienced four corporate relocations, across the country and back (with family in tow), I understand how stressful, crazy and exciting it can be to relocate.
I work with both buyers and sellers within Bainbridge Island, Poulsbo, and Kingston areas of Kitsap county. It is my mission to not only develop a true relationship with you and to understand your needs in finding the right home, but also to provide resources and support to help you get set up within your new community. To my sellers, with my skills in interior design, I will get your home ready for the market and develop a successful plan for you to receive the full financial potential available to you.
I live and work on Bainbridge Island with my husband, two children and a German Shepherd. Prior to starting my career in real estate, I was a firefighter for the Warrenville Fire District in Illinois. I also hold a degree in psychology and interior design. I am an avid runner, amateur photographer and enjoy traveling to new places.
There’s no place else on earth quite like Bainbridge Island. Owning property here is one of the great privileges of life. I love this area, and once I show you around, I’m convinced you will love it too and want to plant roots of your own. When to buy? Where to buy? What areas should I avoid? How can I really make sure I’m getting a good deal? These are the questions I can help you answer.
I went to school for business and design. I love the real estate business. I have the team and local know-how to help you make the best possible decision. It’s my passion to help people and be a facilitator in whatever capacity I’m allowed. I have specialized training and experience in customer service and sales, so negotiation is second nature to me. I pride myself on my passionate and heartfelt drive to serve my clients’ best interests. Let me earn your business.
Bainbridge Island is a small city in western Washington state. It’s an easy 35 minute ferry ride to Seattle. It is located between the Cascade and Olympic Mountains, surrounded by the waters of Elliot Bay. The lush landscape is picturesque. There is a definite sense of community that you get by living here. Markets are always driven by supply and demand. Since Bainbridge Island is very small and it’s surrounded by water, future development is very, very, limited and the city has nearly reached its build-out point. That means supply is very limited now and in the long term. Our ease of access from anywhere on earth and proximity to Seattle assures that demand stays steady. This means that Bainbridge Island, WA is a great place to make your real estate investment.
