Bainbridge Island Public Library
The Bainbridge Island Library is a unique public/private partnership.  The library building and grounds are owned by the people of Bainbridge Island, managed by a volunteer Board of Directors (Bainbridge Public Library), and funded solely by private donations. BPL Board also produces programs such as Field’s End Writers Roundtables and Speakers Forums.  Staff, technology, books and materials, and administration are provided by the Kitsap Regional Library system and funded by property tax dollars.  The Bainbridge Island Library is a branch of the Kitsap Regional Library.

Bainbridge Performing Arts
Since 1956, BPA has served as the artistic heart of Bainbridge Island and is a community theater in the very best sense of the phrase. The talented and creative collaborations of actors, musicians, singers, writers, poets, dancers, and designers produce spectacular sights and sounds that fill the stage each month with BPA Productions of Tony Award-winning plays, beautifully crafted music performances from the Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Music Series, uplifting comedy from The EDGE Improv, an innovative and character-building Theatre School program for Pre-K through adults, and so much more.
