Nancy Rees has lived on Bainbridge for over 18 years with her husband Tom, who grew up on Bainbridge. They are both well connected in the real estate industry, both locally and beyond.
"As a Real Estate Agent / Broker, I make it my number one priority to stay up on the entire inventory on the Northwest Multiple Listings. Which means I know what is currently for sale on the Bainbridge Island local market and make it a point to view every home on the market. I also pay very close attention to all the current activity of not only the currently listings but also what has just sold as well as went into pending. I feel fortunate that Tom is a Mortgage Broker with Bainbridge Lending Group (he can help you with your loan or to get pre-qualified). It is an advantage to know the current market rates and newer policies in lending in order to know how to help my clients. We have two boys: one in high school, the other in college. They have been through all grades in the Bainbridge Public School system- which is excellent. I know Bainbridge Island very well and have been taken active roles in so many of programs and activities that our island has to offer. I am lucky to have extended family on the island so I have observed the island through multi-generational views.
I make full use of my network of friends and professional colleagues to benefit my clients and help them form connections in this wonderful community. I look forward to working with you too.
My other passions include the Bainbridge Island School District and I am a member of our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). This has been a priority with my husband and I since our boys entered the district’s schools. I find it very fulfilling to work with other parents and grandparents on the fundraising committees, chaired school carnivals, and dances. While I may not sit on the board of the Bainbridge Island Rotary, my husband did, (as president of Bainbridge Island Rotary International Club 2011-2012), and I would like to think I worked almost as hard as he did participating for many of the Rotary Club functions. As a family we are involved in Boy Scouts, Little League, Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church Youth Group, Wing Point Golf & Country Club, Rotary Auction, boating and traveling."
